Niko Tracksdorf

- University of Connecticut
PhD student in German Studies and Applied Linguistics at UConn. My interests include hybrid and online education, learner autonomy, and content and language integrated learning with technology. I co-developed and taught an online language and culture class at university level, and presented the theoretical background and lessons learned at the ACTFL conference in Florida (2013). In 2012, I developed and taught an intermediate language class focusing on roller coaster engineering, math, and sciences. In this class, I combined language education and STEM, while applying digital tools.
