Janneken Smucker
I am an assistant professor of History at West Chester University. In addition to teaching a DH focused undergrad course, I specialize in American material culture. My book (yes, how old-fashioned) Amish Quilts: Crafting an American Icon comes out with Johns Hopkins University Press in October 2013. I developed my DH chops while working as a content specialist at Night Kitchen Interactive on interactive projects for museums and cultural institutions.
