I currently direct the Teaching Center at Columbia's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Before moving over to the Teaching Center, I worked for several years at Columbia's Center for New Media Teaching and Learning, and I still collaborate closely with this innovative group.

My doctorate and teaching interests center on British Romanticism, and I teach courses like "Multimedia Blake" and "The Romantic Audience" in Columbia's English Department. I also teach in the Core Curriculum program, which is particularly rewarding to approach through new media.

I was a consumer of the Core as an undergraduate at Columbia. My doctorate is from UC Berkeley. And I also picked up a library degree from Simmons. The sweet spot, for me, is the interplay of teaching and learning, communication technology, and information services.
